Guide to Vegas Shows

Jubilee!
Hotel: Bally’s
Reservations: (866) 80-SHOWS
Price: $72.50 & Up
Age: 18 & Above
The showgirl is synonymous with Las Vegas and there’s no show in town that glorifies showgirls quite like Jubilee! In between the huge productions, Jubilee! is filled with singing, dancing and some entertaining specialty acts as well. Among the rotating cast of performers are the Long Twins — two acrobats/contortionists who leave you wondering how it’s humanly possible to bend and balance the way they do. Aerialists Stoyan & Dmitri dazzle audiences with their high-flying act and Los Huincas Argentinean Gauchos amaze the audience with their fast-paced drumming and boleadoras twirling.

KA
Hotel: MGM Grand
Reservation: (866) 80-SHOWS
Price: $116 & Up
Age: 5 & Up
KÀ tells a thrilling adventure story about Imperial Twins who are separated by an attack on their Far Eastern palace and overcome adversity to be reunited. This Cirque du Soleil show has a clear plot, making it easy for people to sympathize with the characters and follow along as the story unfolds. One of the most mystifying elements in the show is the ever-evolving stage that transforms into a floating barge, a beach, a snowy mountain and a violent sea in the midst of a storm, among other varied landscapes.

Le Reve
Hotel: Wynn Theatre
Reservation: (866) 80-SHOWS
Price: 108 & Up
Age: 5 & Up
Leave reality behind and experience the fantastical world of Le Rêve, created by Franco Dragone, at Wynn. French for the dream, Le Rêve, depicts a colorful world of beautiful and mystifying characters. Not only does the in-the-round theater put guests at a unique vantage point, but it also makes them feel like they are part of the show as there is no clear line between the audience and the stage. Gymnasts, aerialists and synchronized swimmers appear from every angle at times ascending from the water, descending from the high arched ceiling or running through the theater and alongside the audience. If you are seated by an aisle, you never know when you are going to look to your side and see a masked face or other curious character staring right back at you.

Love
Hotel: Mirage
Reservation: (866) 80-SHOWS
Price: $150.50 & Up
Age: 5 & Up
If you’re looking for a show that’s a fusion of acrobatics, dance and visual effects, accompanied by a classic rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack, then all you need is LOVE. LOVE is not a typical Cirque du Soleil show with high-flying trapeze artists, gymnasts and acrobats. Although there is some of that in the show, it is mainly a theatrical and dance-oriented show. The creators also wanted to bring a bit of the youth of today into the show, showcasing extreme sports, break dancing and street dancing.

Penn & Teller
Hotel: Rio Hotel & Casino
Reservations: (866) 80-SHOWS
Price: $84.85 & Up
Age: 5 & Up
Penn & Teller’s edgy show is unlike any other magic production in Las Vegas. The tall, lanky Penn serves as a narrator, providing a running comedic commentary on just about everything they do, while the diminutive Teller provides a lot of the show’s action, all without saying a single word. The pair manages to reveal a few tricks of their trade along the way, while turning around and completely stumping you with others.

O
Hotel: Bellagio
Reservation: (888) 488-7111
Price: $93.50 and up
Age: 5 & Up
Cirque du Soleil weaves an aquatic tapestry of artistry, surrealism, and theatrical romance in the timeless production, “O.” The international cast of world-class acrobats, synchronized swimmers, divers, and characters performs in, on, and above water to create a breathtaking spectacle in a splendid theater reminiscent of a European opera house.
