NAHC President Halamandaris Invited to President Obama's Historic Health Forum

President Barack Obama is committed to making health insurance available to all Americans. He recently asked 120 people to the White House (half of whom who were members of Congress) to work on this plan. Val J. Halamandaris, President of NAHC was invited to participate in this and subsequent meetings. He commended the President and said NAHC supports the goal of health coverage including long term home care for all Americans but that creation of the plan must not come at the expense of cutting services to chronically ill Americans who are so sick they cannot leave home without assistance.
