is enacted if a new long term care program called the CLASS Act is included, or lose
as much as $57 billion in Medicare home health cuts over the next 10 years. During

Join NAHC for an Uprecedented 4th March on Washington, Oct. 27
What: In order that the voices of the home care and hospice community be heard
on pending proposals to cut these important benefits, NAHC has scheduled a fourth
(and unprecedented) March on Washington this year.
When: Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Where: Washington, DC.
If possible, attendees should plan to arrive in Washington, D.C., during the
afternoon of Monday, Oct. 26. NAHC staff will be available from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
on Monday, at the Frederick Douglass Museum and Hall of Fame for Caring Americans,
320 A Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. to brief attendees on the current status
of legislative activity in the House and Senate and to provide background materials
for your visits.
